with the fresh dew settling in,

on this winter morning

I stare at the flower constantly

It will bloom for today

and fade away in the oblivion tomorrow

I get instant enlightenment

let me live today

without the obstruction of the past

and restriction of tomorrow 

and without attachment or detachment

I smell the fresh rose

I smell the divine

it is the night of the wind chimes,

the air is surreal and cool

a time to be festive,

as feverish passions are creating

a festival of mind, body, soul and beyond

this is the festival of the ignited souls

who are subconsciously being prayerful by being playful

entwined, engrossed and connected

while he thrusts inside her

the pleasure on her face

and the moon shines

eyes that caress my thoughts,

capture my silence

her smile makes its own moves

having a crackling spark,

a shrill whispering conspiracy,

arousal of a thirsty kind

her smile is a benign prayer

I meditate mostly on it.

the decay is visible
the freckles of my eyes
see misty dew on the banyan tree
underneath which I held you close
while it rained

today, sun didn’t shine
out on the cliff, someone fell
into the subtle super-consciousness
I hold on to that known myth
I will inherit another planet
after I die
where will you be taken, I am not sure

I am dying
and all the shades of my past
are passing me by
the leaves are leaving the trees
spring is yet to come
I see your smile in a flash
Can i really be apart from you?

she is
magnanimously spell bound,
a curious vagabond,
serene as dawn
hot as a frown
never to be found

she is
a wild paragon
a lovers love, a Texan dove,
the sensuous sound of a flute
the profoundness of a root

she is the flavour of bergamot
and of all the lot
she is a dream which she dreams
after a sip of the red wine
she is as real as she seems
she is the bitter chocolate
she is sweet marmalade
she is the shine
on this crazy life
yes she is
couldn’t ask for more

push me to a whirlpool of colours

and I swim in between the

shades of blue, green, emerald and peach

I smell of an exotic fragrance

when I come out of the divine water

and feel on a high altitude,

high with bliss and love and all that,

wearing soft cotton clothes,

on a better off-than-Mediterranean beach

and lo! the music starts and I see her,

right there, having a strange looking

glass in her hand, sipping out of it,

and revelling in it,

looks enchanting

as she walks towards me

and whispers in my ears, “lets have

all the best food and the wines in the world”

and I ask why

she tells me that violence has ended in the world

and there is eternal peace

so, it calls for celebration,

endless wine and endless love

till the endless time…

we celebrate, make love

on the backwaters,

sky glitters with

noiseless fireworks…

I am in the real heaven,

on earth…

and then suddenly

I get up, with an uproar outside

I see a man slaughtered

and I realise I am awake….

can I be back,

in my dreams?

carelessly walking
on the sands
at the beach
suddenly
one house of mud is destroyed
by my feet

as I sit on the
big rock
the roar of the waves
makes me forget
who am I

I try to hold the sand
but it slips
from my fingers
that’s life
but we keep on linger

a tap on my shoulders
make me see you
your beautiful smile
asks me to smile
life is still young I feel

I miss you
trees have stopped blowing
the breeze of happiness
life looks mundane
its such a enigmatic game

I miss you
waterlogged streets make my feet muddy
a truck splashes me by
no one seems to comprehend
where do I stand

without you
this is what happens
all the gospels lead me
to frustration
when there is no
indication
of your coming back

clouds have disappeared
replaced by harsh sunlight
with all the might
your smile could have
made me feel alright
