Underneath the unexpurgated skies
we had lusty excursion
on a lonely, cool beach,
past midnight,
the lovely Mediterranean breeze
was the metaphor
we swam with the
low tide,
bare and undemanding
being natural was the catch
the swim was the act part one
the fatal smile on your face
meant that I was your food
for the night
the hunger evident
in your very look
the fatal attraction
churned the wildness
into a fiery animal instinct
which spoilt the swim
and turned us into
wild, selfish, decadent creatures
as we caressed and kissed
and had a feast of each other
all through the night
again, again, again
and yet again
I heard you howl and moan and yell and cry,
claiming the whole world as yours
the concupiscence never satiated
till our bodies went sour
the heat of our
passion engulfed the ocean
we saw the evaporations
over the sea, within us
when the dawn broke,
the water of the sea
had gone dry…
and there was that fatal smile
on your face again!
